Restaurant owners Neil Wallace and Scot Nicol
(both lovers and lifers of everyone's favorite breakfast joint) are bringing the city of El Segundo, traditional Mexican food with some tasty and healthy twists. Jose and the boys at Wendy's Place are bringing us the secrets and history behind their Mexican heritage. They have spent the last year searching, tasting and testing what the South Bay has to offer. Now Scot Nicol and Neil Wallace, are bringing to the city of El Segundo a combination of fiesta and fresh!
The decor is sand and surf, a perfect essence of this town that we all love. We have a massive patio where you can come and sip on a Beach Mex Margarita or a stiff Catalina Island Ice Tea. But don't be thrown off by the pitchers of our colorful Sangria! Beach Mex is a place where you can bring your family and feel at home. Our kids menu is enough to make any parent want to Limbo!!
The menu will include items such as Grilled Fish Tacos, Carnitas Burritos served wet and dry, and salads that offer more than just the average Tostada. Churros... Yup! We got em!
We want Beach Mex to be a place where everyone can feel like home. We would formally like to thank Tyler Surfboards for providing the surfboard that is currently resined into the main counter top of our diner. We are the only restaurant in the South Bay that has a surfboard for a table top. We would also like to thank Boots Meza. Boots designed the Beach Mex logo of our sombrero-wearing surfer!
Most of all Beach Mex would like to thank the friends, family and hard work that has gone into making this adventure possible! We can't wait to make some good memories and good times here... Who's in for Sunday Funday's?
